Adeline Ponce was a waitress in Tucson when one of her favorite customers gave her Michel de Montaigne's "Essays" as a birthday gift. It changed her outlook in life. She quit her job afterwards in able to become a writer. She did part-time jobs for a couple of years in able to hone her writing skills. Her first piece of writing was an essay about her lonely years in an old diner in a town near Tucson. Kristy currently writes restaurant reviews and exotic dishes.
